Argelio Malagon Sr., President, immigrated from Cuba, where he was an accomplished architect and graduate of CUJAE University. He founded MCI in 1996 with a passion for design and construction and today continues to guide the company’s long-term vision and strategic direction.
Argelio "Tito" Malagon, Vice President, earned his Building Construction Management (BCM) degree from Purdue University. After working at JE Dunn Construction and The Related Group, he brings diverse experience across healthcare, aviation, education, and multifamily sectors to MCI. He is responsible for driving MCI’s continued growth while advancing the systems, technology, and processes that support efficient project delivery.
Giovany Rodriguez, Director of Operations, is an FIU Construction Management graduate with over 10 years of experience helping build Miami’s skyline. His background includes MEP field operations and superintendent roles with The Related Group and Balfour Beatty on multifamily and high-rise projects. At MCI, he leads operations and project execution across all three MEP divisions.
Together, Argelio Sr., Tito, and Giovany combine strategic vision, construction experience, and operational leadership to guide MCI forward. As the company continues to grow, their focus remains on developing the team, strengthening operations, and delivering consistent results across MCI’s Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing divisions.

A New Beginning
Argelio Malagon and his wife left Cuba for the US, where he began anew as a building inspector in Miami, armed with an architectural degree.

Founding MAG Construction, Inc.
Argelio founded MAG Construction, Inc, a civil underground utility contractor, earning a stellar industry reputation.

Argelio involved his children in the business early, teaching them hard work, integrity, and creativity.
